Insane51 Mural Completion Celebration

Event Description: Another world-class mural is being installed in downtown Gainesville. GNV Urban Art LLC Iryna Kanishcheva has made arrangements for a new interactive mural by artist, Insane 51, at the Florida Theater Gainesville located at 233 West University Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601. The mural will have a double exposure 3D effect that reveals different artworks when viewed through the red/blue lenses of 3D glasses. An official celebration of the completed project will be on Sunday, October 21 at 5 pm. The first 35 visitors of the event will receive FREE 3D glasses signed by the artist.

About The Artist: Insane 51, 26, is from Athens, Greece. He has garnered worldwide recognition for his ‘double exposure 3D style’ murals. His specialty is realism and photorealistic portraits combined with 3D and illusion effects. Since 2007, Insane51 has been traveling the globe, painting walls at various street art festivals and exhibitions. About The Organizer: Iryna Kanishcheva curates murals independently under GNV Urban Art LLC. She was the founder and former curator of 352walls/ The Gainesville Urban Art Initiative, the first urban art program in North Central Florida. The inspiration, passion, international networking and years of experience led her to establish innovative projects in Florida and her home country, Ukraine. The Gainesville based GNV URBAN ART LLC works to build creative and cultural communities throughout Florida and all around the world, inspire vibrancy in neighborhoods, and to celebrate positive social change through contemporary art.
