This is the second annual Barbells for Blades event and DJ Robzilla and I are proud to have been invited back to host and perform again this year! Also performing is Ocala, FL based blues/jazz artist, N.W. Izzard; who will celebrating the release of his new album! Read the description below to learn more about the Barbells for Blades event:

This isn't you average charity event, this is a party with a purpose. Welcome to the party for a prosthetic, Barbells for blades. If you enjoy community, live music, barbells, beer, and having a good time you won't want to miss our 2nd annual Barbells for Blades! This event is open to everyone.

B4B raises $ to support the Never Say Never Foundation and their mission to change the lives of youth amputees. Last year B4B was able to donate a prosthetic leg to a young boy named Logan at their annual adaptive Pirate Camp. This year our goal is to donate 2! Logan and his family will be at B4B this year and we can't wait to hear everything he has been able to do with his new leg.

Friday evening Oct 7th at 7pm CrossFit Pinnacle will transform to create a fundraising environment like you have never experienced before. We host it on a Friday evening for 2 simple reasons.

1) It's way more fun to lift weights and dance with a band and DJ after dark with the fog and lasers!

2) Event entry includes all you can drink beer for 21+ while you enjoy the push/pull contest and live music by N.W. Izzard as they release their new cd. .

Here are some different ways to contribute with 100% of proceeds going to the NSNF:

$10 B4B event entry (includes AYCD beer for 21+)

$20 B4B event shirt (Does NOT include entry)

$40 B4B Push/Pull comp (includes event entry and shirt) $Raffle: After the push/pull event there will be a raffle of both CrossFit and non-CrossFit items.

$50/50: Cash raffle winner takes half, charity takes half.

• The NSNF is a 501(c)3 tax deductible non-profit charity. All proceeds go to the kids.

This is by far our favorite event of the year and we can't wait to party for a prosthetic!
